I just finished creating a new Application for Twitter. It basically grabs your latest tweet and puts it into an image, which allows you to pop it into your forum signature. The website design needs a little work, but let me know what you think and or throw some suggestions. http://dynno.com
Thanks for your comments. I'll be working on a new theme to make it more simple and fresh, as well as matching throughout. I just need to finish my caching system to cache the tweets to maintain the speed.
Site looks great but the thing doesnt work it just show blank image i tryed putting diffrent name but its the same..
Bah. Twitter limits how many connections my site can make per hour. I'm currently working on a caching system to get rid of the problem so it should be up later this week. Thanks for the comments everyone!
I just updated the website & signature application based on your feedback. Check it out and let me know what you guys think. Now, all tweets are cached for an approx of 15 minutes; app should be much faster now.
I added a few more touches to make it much better. Any comments/suggestions are welcome. Best Regards.
Clean and to the point, loads slow for me, you can put ads on the bottom/top and host your site on a dedicated 1 GBPS port if you are serious about this idea
The site will sometimes load slow when it caches or re-caches the tweets. Unfortunately, when Twitter is slow, it takes a bit to retrieve the tweets. Another factor would be the addthis widget, I noticed it's making the site a bit slower, so I'll be taking it down. The website is currently hosted on a dedicated server, but as I said, when Twitter is slow when we cache or re-cache the tweets, it slows down the speed time. Yes I can. However, if I do place ads to the bottom of the site, they will only be text ads as banner ads will obstruct the view for the users. Best Regards.
