Stop Adblock From Working

Is there a way to stop Adblock from working? Users bragging about how Adblock is blocking all the ads.

 

I don't think there is any way to stop it from working.But if the visitor wants they can disable it.

 

That's right there is nothing you can do but don't worry too much about it the only people that use it are net geeks and they won't click on ads anyway because they know your making money from it.

The general population don't use ad blockers.

 

They probably use firefox as well as most nerds/geeks seem to like it. It used to cause me headaches as my pages would not display correctly in firefox. I fixed the problem by telling people to use IE instead

 

Block firefox.

Or put any content like:
/advertising/banner.gif
(Use PHP's rewrite engine..)

 

Use a rewriter..

 

Just revisiting this as the software is becoming more popular. Anyone currently doing anything to prevent people from blocking ads?

 

Ad network companies will probably soon be having a feature that will prevent from ads being blocked.

 

I can code something for you to prevent your site to load on computers using the AdBlock addon (something like "please disable AdBlock in order to access this site"). Let me know if you are interested.

 

That would be nice if you could code it for everyone and post it in freebies section
