It is interesting how people who suggest that God does not exist don't act as those that deny the Loch Ness monster, a flat earth, biorhythms, volcano gods, Sasquatchs, free lunches, zombies, or UFOs. They don't obsessively attack those that believe. They do protesth too much.

It's nice to see even you think your beliefs are comparable to a belief in a lake monster and the living dead. If people were mutilating the genitals of children, killing people on a daily basis, trying to poison the education system with bronze age myths, obstructing the research of medical treatments and threatening children with eternal torture in the name of the loch ness monster, then we would oppose it equally as passionately. See, it's not wacky beliefs we are against, it's dangerous ones. sure wacky beliefs are good to make fun of, but it's the dangerous ones which we want to eradicate.

i do, but you obviously don't. because if your examples of lake monsters and the living dead was, as i assume you are now claiming, a "contrast" there would be no logical reason why we would attack those beliefs in the same way as we attack the belief in god. Why would we attack a belief which you claim isn't comperable in the same way? That was your point, right? That we focus on the belief in god and ignore other things we disbelieve in such as monsters and the living dead?
