Where do you submit your articles?

I am new at writing article. I submit my first ones and I found the submission process really time-consuming. I would like to ask: what are your favorites article directories, after EzineArticle?

And to how many directories will you submit the same article? As much as possible or only a few?

If want to get as many articles listed as possible for your keyword then I recommend spinning your articles so they not duplicates increasing your changes of getting more indexed by Google. What you will find is google does not like duplicate content so your articles will not all appear in the SERP's if submitted to multiple directories.

At the moment I find that I am getting alot of love from goarticles, I used to get a lot of love from squidoo but that seems to have dropped significantly recently. I am getting to the front page of google for my articles with goarticles and getting some nice traffic.

Keep punching out those articles :)

Go Articles is another one i use. Ezine is my top. i do submit the same article to a couple directories but i am not sure how this impacts results as it will become duplicate content. im interested to see what other peoples views are on this.

Thank you guys! You confirmed what I was thinking about rewriting the content before going any further, and staying away from the "Submit your articles to over 300 directories!" offers :D

Google doesn't like duplicate content in any form.
If Google detects duplicate content it will hurt the PR of BOTH webpages that have the content.
Best thing is to not even try it, just write authentic unique content
Google will rewared you for it.

I use Copyscape to check for duplicate content on my pages.
I'd leave you a link, but at this point I'm still an insignificant Peon. So I can't leave links yet.

submitting the same article is not a good practice - as the likelihood of their getting accepted drops and even if they get accepted their occurrences would get duplicated and hence pages (consequently links) get suppressed - so in short all hard wrk wasted. Instead you should get a lot of versions rewritten of same article such that they appear different to both google and article dirs.

Personally I put links on social networks like Twitter, Digg, Del.icio.us, Facebook, my blog (for what it's worth)...You can try to put links on subject-related forums too.
