Alright, so after 24 hours of use roughly I have an update. I got up this morning to check out my website and attempted to check my email and found out their server was down. Now I put in a support ticket arround 11am stating to them about my issue. A few hours went by, then I updated my support ticket and still no response and the server was still down. Finally I just posted asking if I could receive a refund, then left the house to go run to the store. I came back a few hours later to find that the server was back online but my support ticket was closed out. The worst part about it my support ticket was closed without a response from the staff at hostlatch. I purchased service from these guys and expected to receive what was advertised, I have reviewed their terms of service and found that even they are breaking their own terms for not honoring a refund. Their terms state you have three days to claim a refund in the case that the uptime guarantee is not met, which in my case out of the 24 hours I had the account the total uptime averages to roughly 70% uptime. After my rage I then told them I would rather not receive a refund but would like to continue service. Maybe this happened as an accident, I guess only time will tell. It seems to be a good hosting company but customer support is obviously an area that needs improvement but that I can overlook if the uptime can only improve. I will post more once my length of time with this web hosting company becomes greater. Also, I have yet to actually have a response from these people, it appears I am sending in support tickets to myself.
