ya because if I'm wrong then it would take another week. Google really needs their bot to provide a "possible reason". Their lack of respect to their customers (adsense, checkout, etc) by not letting them know the reason for any penalty doesn't make me too happy.

I am probably getting sandboxed for some reason because of a sudden increase in backlinks. My site has no spam. I've checked competitor sites and sites in my niche and a couple of them with PR4 and 5 link to torrent sites so that's not the issue with my site.

The only thing I am thinking right now is they mistakened my Friends links for paid links, which is stupid.

There might be a flux in the Google Algo, or did you take into consideration that it is Saturday, and traffic for most sites goes down on the weekends. Check it out come the start of the week. Your webpages are still indexed in google, about 5900 of them, so I don't think you've been banned. I would mention that about 90% of your titles in your pages do have Windows 7 in it, i don't know if you've taken that into consideration, it might look spammy to some "Googler" in Quality Control.

no this happened on thursday. well my site IS about Windows 7 lol. I think I know the problem. My home page has 69 meta keywords. I think they think I am keyword stuffing. How do I change my home page meta keywords in wordpress? All in one SEO pack cannot edit the home page

It couldn't be a reason IMHO. Metakeywords currently are not important factor in Google's algorithm..

If your site is just few months old, then you can expect to see lot of changes in SERPs. Pages will index and will then de-index fast. Your sites will jump in SERPs a lot.

To get a stable placement in SERPs, you need to build some relevant and high quality backlinks.

Its a free service you pay them nothing. They pay the expenses of hosting the pages and if you do things right you get listed there. You are not a customer....

There is no sandbox.....never has been... there is an aging delay but since your site was listed well this would not be an issue.

A spike in links indicates artificial link building. If they are quality links Google will score them as such and improve your rankings.

Google is anything but stupid and sees through all plots and ploys.......

Google also ignores the meta keywords tag so you are not filtered for having 60+ keywords there.

Seems Google during the update found most of the links pointing to your site to be useless / worthless and degraded the original values assigned when the links were initially built.

You might want to spend time reading a qualified SEO source such as seobook.com or seomoz.org

Most of what people post here is gross misinformation that will cause you to go more insane......

    :)

Google has no logic sometimes, my advice is to try and build links for other niche sites so that you are not so dependent upon google traffic.

Are you sure - you re not using SEO tricks that goes against Google's TOS?

Have you properly read the Quality Guidelines in Google's WTA?
I can see you are directly violating the 3rd point of Quality Guidelines --
