Adsense ads showing up in different format

On one of my sites, the adsense ads sometimes show up as a 468X60 image banner and I have the code in for a 336X280 box.

Has anyone ever had to deal with this?

I looked as well... could you either paraphrase the discussion or post the link?

    Thanks

I've had this happen. if you've noticed, when you finish creating your ad units, you get a note from google saying the ad block probably won't appear for a short while or you will just get generic public service ads.

judging by that I would say this is adsense "improvising" when it cant serve up the correct ads you requested. I wouldnt worry about it to be honest, unless of course this is a problem you've had for a couple of days.

you still get paid a few cents when people click these "improvised ads"

It's actually ads that I have had for some time, I just moved things around a bit on one site. They are bottom placed ads so they do not get as much action as the others.

    Thanks for your help.
