Friends I know about WP very little, and I want to find out, is WP good for SEO or not? and what should I do to optimize my WP blog for SEO if it's possible.
    Thanks

wordpress can be very good for seo purpose. Though you need to customize it as per your need. Search for seo plugins and you will find a lot of plugins for seo. I have heard about one in all seo plugin (or may be its something like that) that its a very good one though i have make mine wordpress top rank without that plugin :)

wordpress is good for seo , because google loves wp. Find good plugins which does some SEO , like creating metatags , tags . Also choose permalinks as postname , this helps a lot . Don't use plugin which slows down your page loading time.

Wordpress is a great platform for blogging and there are lots of plug-ins for SEO. The All-In-One plug-in is essential for good meta tags and titles.

I use the all in one plugin on the couple of blogs that I own. It works well and it is easy to setup.

Wordpress is excellent regarding SEO, use the all in one plugin, the sitemap plugin, set your permalinks appropriately and another bonus is new posts get picked up fast.

Blogs in general are in line with what google is about, up to date and new unique content, serving up the freshest info to searchers.
