Problems with script developer

    Hello,
In March 2008 I have bought from the company kaonsoftwares.com software product Ad Network Script. From the very beginning I had problems in the course of using a product. Constantly there were errors because of developers. I repeatedly addressed in support of the given company. Some problems dared, but very much very long (the decision of some problems occupied from them the whole month). Now the script does not work in general, and support does not appear! Repeatedly asked to return money, but they refuse to return. Addressed in ticket system, called by phone - but it has given nothing. Advise that to me to do in the present state of affairs?
    Thank you!

How much did you spend to buy the script? Have you tried to search on Google for people who might have encountered the same problems as yours?

How did you make the payment? Credit card or paypal? Perhaps you can make an official complaint or write to paypal or the financial institution that represents you.

Or perhaps you can take the company to tasks by writing about your experience with them on a blog or website or other media.

In any instant, try threatening the developer with the above mentioned steps first, they might refund your money just to avoid the trouble or bad publicity.

Being that a year has passed, it will be difficult to get a refund back from them or your credit card company. I would still give your credit card company a call as they may be able to process this as a chargeback as long as you have a log of all the correspondence between you and the vendor.

Credit cards have time limits on charge backs...its been a year? forget it...wont happen...most limits are like 3 months at best...and personally, I think 3 months is to long to file a dispute...so they are being very generious to give 3 months to issue a dispute...this should have been disputed and settled long time ago...

forget it, and move on with your life.

they have already gotten paid, spent the money, and they have moved on with their lives, so you do the same, move on...

You never know what your CC company will say give them a call and explain the ongoing nature of the problems. Worst case scenario you are out 20 minutes of your time talking to your CC company.

I agree, talk to your CC company, unfortunately the huge time frame will hurt your luck considerably.
