Hi I came across a sig link to www.text-link-ads.com and it sounds interesting for users who don´t want to sell links on their website directly via mediakit or just can´t find someone to buy them. Has anyone tried them? How old are they? Do they pay? I have contacted the support and asked a question, the answer was relatively quick so one point for them so far. StarBuG
I've bought and sold ads with Text-Link-Ads. I had to convert my static html to PHP but now it works great.
So they have an active buying market for publishers? I've used several similar services before and all but one were really poor performing. The only one that was able to deliver any kind of consistant buyers I found was linkworth. Not liking to put all the eggs in one basket though I've been looking for a second service to use on some other sites, it sounds like TLA is worth a try, but I'd appreciate if any publishers here with them could offer more opinions on the marketplace they offer.
The interface is pretty good (as a link buyer). I like the way you can see the url, PR and Alexa rank of the site before you make your order.
And how are they paying? What can I expect as a publisher for a link? I know this totaly depends on your pagerank, cached pages in google and pageviews... but a rough estimate? We have about 900,000 pageviews and an avarage pr of 4
Hmm interesting. 23$/Links, that sounds about near the ammount we would like to get so I think I will try them in the future
Yes, Text-link-Ads.com splits all link revenue with you 50-50. They also pay the first of every month via PayPal.
Actually, quite a few of them say that they won't reveal the url until you pay. Some of those don't even reveal traffic stats, Alexa ranking, or even PR! Most of those are high dollar links. It is like shopping blind.
Well I would never buy blind. What sites are these? I can see them all when I have looked in the past.
I hv been using it for some time. They pay promptly but they are not able to sell much text link on my website
