Ok, when I use one of my key phrases, from mycomputer, I'm number one on MSN. http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=car+wallpaper&Form=MSNH But, when I posted the link via MSN Messenger to a fellow DP'er, who is also from Australia like me, he says it showed up at #3, using the same link above.... I re-searched using the same term, same url, and voila, #1. WTF!!! So can you all see what site is #1 for : http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=car+wallpaper&Form=MSNH My sites url is exoticcarite.com, i think its the only site on that page that has a cached date beside it. THis is the title "Car Wallpaper - Supercars, Sports Cars, Exotic Cars & Modified Cars."
Different datacenters - even though you live in the same country, you can still be connecting to different DC's
I see what you're saying, but its still msn.com, not msn.co.uk or something? The link is still the same?
Even if it's msn.com, it still uses multiple data centers because no one server can handle all the load of searching. Even individual servers could have differences because one hasnt been updated yet. Give it time, it'll probably stabilize at 1. Good luck!
Exoticcarsite.com, I get the same thing from datacenters...what really matters is that you are in the top 5 Tom Z. http://www.hip-edge.com http://www.energyrefuge.com
I vary between 2 & 3 on Google, depending on the day lol, and I'm 1,2, or 3 on MSN apparently, and inside the top 10 for yahoo. Best part is, I don't know much about SEO or anything lol. Just what I've picked up from DP
lol, still see my self at #1..... ohhhh & #4 on Yahoo now. w00t. Top 5 on the big 3. You'd think I'd be doing better on Alexa though.....
