I use the Automatic blog post feature (on wordpress) to post a new article everyday. Does google bots recognize that its automatic? Because my blog still has not been indexed by Google Blog Search and its been almost a year! I don't why what the reason could be.
Have you done link building? I wouldn't fuss much over Google Blog Search much, it's Google search which sends traffic.
Is your blog indexed at all? Check if robots.txt is preventing from getting indexed. Use webmaster tools to find other errors that Google Bot is detecting.
Automatic Blog posts feature was added for quick posting and time saving purpose. I think; there's no problem in google indexing as such.
no, google won't know. And if your blog content is unique, it will look to a search engine as if you are manually updating it whenever a new post appears. Which they like, of course.
Yes, Google penalizes for duplicate contents and it wont index it at all. You need to take some more steps,if you run automated blog posts from RSS feeds..
Why is that? I post 100% unique articles. My blog is indexed by google.com just not the google blog search. But the real question is whether google punishes me for using the automatic post feature. I typically schedule 30 days worth of postings. One article per day.
er... There's no 'penalty' unless you REALLY overdo it. And you will get indexed, down on page 500 or somewhere.
