What gets People Banned from DP?

I just wonder when I see 'Banned' below someone's name in DP. Why does this happen? Atleast i can save myself

 

Spam, scamming and being a jerk in threads. Thats the only reasons I know of.

 

If you don't obey the rules and regulations and if you spam around then this is the most important reason you will get banned Just try to obey the rules and make good quality posts and you wil prevent yourself from gettin ban/infractions.

Like all forums, DP has a few rules. If you don't follow them, you are banned

 

spam or posting referal link to the sites

 

Inappropriate adverts, spamming, being a know it all jerk.

 

Because of not following the rules here like doing spam,maintaining multiple accounts,etc.....

 

Ur signature link shows reported attack site! I thought I could learn to make some good money per day!

 

One has to follow guidelines, no chance of Banned.

 

People who do not follow rules,get banned.

 

10 Infraction = 1 Ban .Simple Equation

 

If banned without any infraction, then what will be the reason???

 

Something serious. like trying to sell before the so many day perios or scamming.

i got a 7 day ban for being a smart arse lol.

 

You get banned for breaking the rules.

In general, you'll be banned temporarily when you accrue 10 infraction points. Most infractions are worth one point. Attacking or harassing others will get you 2 points. Spamming is worth 5. (brand new members can be banned when they reach 5 infraction points)

Some things immediately get you banned. If you setup duplicate accounts for instance you'll be banned for several months and the duplicate will be banned permanently. If you continue to setup duplicates, your first account will also be banned longer or permanently.

You may get banned if you're spamming people via the PM system. Hate speech against any race or religious group, or anything along those lines, may get you banned permanently (that includes the politics & religion forum).

You'll also get banned for 7 days immediately if you post just to tell someone to PM you, to tell them you PMd them, or to say you're interested in an offer posted (including to leave your prices and details in the thread). That's not allowed. You can learn more about that by reading the announcement at the top of all BST sections and the 7-day ban sticky here in general chat.
