I am #1 on MSN under south florida website development, #7 for south florida website design, #8 for south florida development and #13 under south florida design!!!! I love MSN!!!
those are very longs keywords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! website development is good but adding south floria...
Not when you are concentrated on staying local. My target audience is businesses in South Florida. If you know about Florida, South Florida is used quite often to describe the location of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. I am also #13 under south florida design and #8 under south florida development!!!! Im very happy with my results...
Good on you boomboom...aim for the moon and if you hit the stars you're doing alright. Omarabid, yes he is targeting those long-tail local keywords, but that is his target market and he will do well thinking along these lines. Baby steps my friend. Aiming in the top 5 for 'website development'...I'm sure he'll run into competitors employing black hat techniques not to mention the quality links he will require to be up there. My only advice is to target Google as they take the biggest portion of searches performed in the U.S. Wish you all the best buddy.
Well according to google analytics, none. I am also ranked #8 on yahoo under south florida website development and #19 under south florida website design but not getting any traffic there either. But I just redid SEO and resubmitted and these are the results. So we will see in time...
Not so impress. Why? MSN is just 3rd of the well known SE by most users. Ranking there is good, but ranking in Google and or Yahoo is much better. Plus, you have less competitor - less search query KWs.
I guess you failed to read the entire thread: I am also ranked #8 on yahoo under south florida website development and #19 under south florida website design. I think 2 out of 3 is pretty good. I agree that I need to be on Google. All in time... Yes I agree, but I think that will take investment into some good back links... Thank you...
could not agree more....what is the point for ranking for a keyword that few will search for? especially in msn where you get about 10% of search engine searches. however, if these results were in google, i would suspect some traffic, however not much since i doubt these are highly searched phrases to begin with.... on a side note, i would like to congratulate you on getting page one rankings despite all this, i know it is a good feeling to have when you see your site on the first page
Thank you for the congratulations I actually did some demographics on this and asked people, if you were a South Florida business owner and needed a website, what would you search for in Google? The largest response I got was South Florida website design so I went with it... And again, I completely agree that I need these results on Google, I couldn't agree more....
The Results are in Google position for keywords: south florida website design, Page 3, #27 out of 17,000,000 possible results.... I can do better.. I would have to say that I concentrated on keyword selection for content, as well as page description, page title, meta tags as well and trying to build backlinks...
