How to take action against a Web Provider in India

I guess a lot of our fellow members are from India and can help us with suggestions. How do we take action against a fraudulent India based company? This company has been blasting our members with PMs created from hundreds and hundreds of accounts. Due to prior dealing with him, I had his Pay Pal information as well as his company address and telephone. Is there a relevant authority that takes care of Internet abuse and attacking?

I have consolidated months of evidence to be presented to the authority.

    LOL.. You are wrong...:p

People are ignorant and generally don't report such things unless they have lost $$$$$ or so...

Of late Cyber crime is dealt very severely in India. ;)

mda is right, In Asia peoples dont try to contact with them as they already lost their money and dont want to spend more but if someone will take action then definitely they will do something for them.

    Its just my opnion!

i guess you might need hard evidence like phishing emails or server attacks to be considered..i had some problems with some Indian scammers but Paypal disputes are the best way for me to get the money back..you might want to ban some ip classes.

Why not fix the holes in your system that allow the abuse to go on? Unless your system is being hacked your only recourse is generally going to civil litigation.

Could just do something like what google does with abused IP's and require 5-10 correct captchas to create an account and then limiting the accounts of people signed up from those IP addresses for the first XX post/days. You won't have much effect on legitimate users but spammers have to jump through a bunch of different hoops, making it more expensive and troublesome.
