Hi our site was being victimized by black-hat SEO because some of our sites are ranking on the top 10 of SERP on are major keywords. They are trying to put links on our site from bad neighborhood. Besides emailing them to remove are links from their page what are the different ways that you can recommend to get rid of this people? Thanks.
Links from "bad" sites really shouldnt affect your rankings. Just make sure you dont link back to them.
NVM I figured it out. No it wont hurt you unless its coop or LV links which are seeming to hurt people in SERPs.
Agreed, there is no real such thing as a bad link from another site. As Google has published, there is no way one site can harm another site simply by linking to them. Only things on a site can cause harm to rankings to the site.
Sure. What is your URL? Thanks guys for this wonderful advice.Anyway I'm kicking them out on our links page request.
yes stay away from reciprical link networks... after big daddy a few of my sites dropped considerably.
but they could increase you rank for bad keywords... like that one for www.whitehouse.gov/president/gwbbio.html and if you type 'failure' in google..
Not sure why any business website would care about that... There is no such thing as bad publicity they say.. there is no such thing as bad serps traffic. If you didn't do anything to get it, then it is all good. who cares what the keywords were.
There is a famous Black Hat SEO tips site on the web and it seems those Black Hat kiddies have been going on it and finding ways to kill their competitors. Lmao it just makes me laugh, and this method is known as "GoogleBowling". But it does not, I repeat, it Does NOT work. If you dont link back to them you are safe and sound but if anything happens to your website then you can for sure talk to Google and definitely you will get restored. Those Black Hat Kids deserve two claps with ten slaps. Thats their fate, decided by the great Ol' IT IT
