Best way to get my Blog noticed?

I have been actively building links from commenting on other similar blogs, I have submitted my site also to website directories.

Apart from the above two, does anyone else have any suggestions? my site is currently PR2 but on average has less than 10 vistors a day.

First you blog should have unique information and secondly title should be attractive so that readers get attracted towards it!

I'd also suggest investing a little towards one way links from other related sites or exchanging links with other related sites. Digital point has excellent forums for both.

 

try 'repurposing' your older content as articles to get traffic / backlinks. Or build supporting autoblogs to increase its PR.

regular related posting and blog to blog text exchange.... but blog must be related to your theme.

Give visitors what they want, update regularly and build links pointing to the blog.

 

I suggest you head over to Squidoo and build a lens on the main theme and display your blog feeds on the lens. Publish a few articles at Ezine Articles giving links to both your lens and blog.

 

use blog directories and do some link exchange

Use web directories and article directories by doing 5-10 a week. Focus on great content and when you write great content send it to other blogs and websites in your niche as they may link. I have developed high traffic to a few blogs I had by doing blogroll exchanges which actually do also increase PR as much as Google tells you it doesn't.

 

Quality content, more / relative backlinks. It takes time.

 

Blog commenting is a good start. Try submitting your articles to social bookmarketing sites like digg, stumbleupon, and etc. Heres a few articles for you to read how to build your traffic. Recommended Articles

 

Content is king....it might take a while but if you have quality content traffic will flow...

 

Use your RSS feed in forums and your latest blog post will show under you user name.

 

I have found the free backlinks in my sig file to be excellent for more traffic.

i think the best thing you should do is to spam forums with posts mentioning your blog. Ensure that you have a link to your blog in your signature. Reply to every post so that all the forums thousands of users notice your blog and clickthrough to it, love it and make you a gazillionaire.
