Yeah once in a while I'll make a couple of cents off some CPM ads but it's definitely not a large amount nor does it happen too often in my case.

Well when you dont have clicks and only Impressions google gives some gift of cents so that you will not remove google ads. its only happen when you have good keyword and good content matching keywords
adsense also has paid per impression. you won't have to apply for it. i think mostly they pay you for showing the image ads, but with a very very little amount of money. i've realized this a few months ago.
Yes, adsense pay for impressions too, but we usually don't realize this, because we have clicks too (you can see your income from impressions only when you don't have any click yet). This is why people are confused when they say 0 clicks and a few cents.
Am I going completely mad, or did someone just get congratulated for earning two cents?!?!?!?! Anyway, some advertisers will pay a minute amount for CPM ads. This is the reason why you get a few cents every now and again, but you won't earn enough to get excited about.
That doubled already can you believe it haha I do not have that much traffic right now. I just wonder how much traffic it will take to get to about $50 dollars per day. I think I have a long uphill battle ahead of me
$50 would be a remarkable achievement, but would also require a lot of effort and hard work. I'm not sure how experienced you are, but don't be fooled by the 'the-more-sites-the-better' philosophy that many on here seem to have. Your time is better spent creating a few quality sites that earn you $20 each per day rather than 100 sites that earn you $0.50 each per day.
