A Search engine like google , but free in adwords, pay good in adsense will surely kill the Google.

The one who can do the above quickly can kill immediately.

Otherwise, if google does the wrong or slow movements , then it can be beaten by competitors.

Anyway, As you r asking this question, I believe You are going to achieve something in online

    All the best.

If the search engine was as good as Google, but perhaps the keyword tools were better, it could be interesting.

Something created by an extremely talented team of ex-Google engineers and marketing people... something that doesn't look like Cuil ;).

Without a serious marketing budget it would be impossible even if you create the most revolutionary search engine. People use google cause they've seen it in movies, tv shows, news and it is also the preset search engine for almost every browser apart from IE. They currently run a monopoly. The first step would be creating an alliance with the major browsers.

It's also hard to replace something quickly that has crept into our way of speaking. "Did you google it" or oh just google it. the word "google" has almost replaced the word search.

I believe if a company can perfect a natural language search engine that would kill google. I know some companies are trying it but haven't come close to completing a final product. Every time I tried to search for info regarding tech problems it always takes forever to find the correct answer and i only type in keywords leaving out the filler words.

But i love google so i dont want them to die, i use gmail, google docs, i receive a ton of traffic for free from their search engine and they pay me to have advertisement on my site. why would u want them to die.

Only time can tell what will happen tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow, all the internet users might think of not using Google for one hour. Then, one will be able to see what happens...:D

Exactly. What is needed is a paradigm shift. Something like going from the telegraph to the telephone.

Google will not be killed ever...
Of course everything can be eliminated, but judging todays world and if you take a look at all the people depending on google, I say its highly improbable
