    Hey guys,

Last month I started up a small site to help me decide which charity I should donate a small portion of my meagre website income to. 74 people voted (I think most were from this forum), and that's not too shabby considering the low level of publicity that the site received. The charity that won the first vote was Save the Children, so I sent them a small donation of £10. This month there are a 5 new charities to vote for. If you'd like to vote in this month's poll, you can do so via this url: http://forum.blapper.com/

    Kind regards,

    fcmisc.

I voted for Sports Aid, since I think that we donate far too much money on animals already, I'm not saying they don't need it, just that we should be giving money to people, not animals.

I think your website is a great idea though! Do you make any profit from it?

Thanks Shamess. I think I made about a dollar from clicks last month. But spent £10 promoting it and £10 on the donation. At the end of the day, I'm hoping that this will give me karma, rather than become a money spinner in its own right. If it does start bringing in anything significant I'll plow it back into larger donations.

Nice site. Are you really allowed to ask the visitors to click?

I added your banner to a post on the forum.

there is nothing wrong in asking people to click. if they want they will if not they won't. and it's free after all - and for a charitable cause. thank you.
you can also add a post for this one: http://www.eslgo.com/you-are-helping.php (this is not mine)
