Adsense Earning Drop

My adsense earnings have dropped over the last two months to around half of how it used to be and now almost to 1/3rd of the average i usually make. i havent made any significant changes to placement/colors and i think i have optimized them well.

Anyone else experiencing the same? Anyway to revert things to how they were?

I'm currently experiencing the same thing. Few days ago it was fine then suddenly things went downhill.

The funny thing with me is that. one day I can make up to $13 (like 3 days ago) and all of the sudden it drops to $0.01 with 3 clicks like yesterday and this is going on for the last 2-3 months, something is very wrong with adsense.

 

Lots of people are experiencing the same thing. Have you tried emailing adsense?

I have noticed that the actual ads have become totally hopeless and a lot unrelated to my website even though I have concentrated well on my kewords.

 

I have earnings redusing too last 2 months. I have educational sites.

 

The credut crunch affects everyone, even though google are one of the richest PLC in the world, they still tighten there tight ass's up .

i'm wondering how to alternatively make income now..because what i make just about covers hosting..any ideas?

what should be a reasonable adsense income for a site in the computers and internet niche covering around 19k pageviews a month?

Same here.. i have searched the adsense help forum but no reports about it..

Now i found this post and its making me feel a bit better.

Last week/months my sites were making a least 5 to 7$ a day come this weekend and this week.. im hardly making 2$ yesterday only 1.50$ and very very little clicks i normally get over 40clicks a day sometimes over 80 but the past 3 days i cant go over 30 clicks???

I have change NOTHING on my end.

Even my traffic is the same.. So it must be something else...?

 

Maybe some other similar site has climbed up the ranking before you.

 

My eCPM had dropped about 50%. This has happened about 2 months ago. As eCPm is dropped, the earnings are decreased too.

Both my CTR and eCPM dropped.

 

If this continues for a week, I'm thinking of dropping adsense. I continued to see downward trend and that makes me worried. At this traffic, I should be earning at least $1. My earnings and traffic is consistent since february and my niche is on game info.

5,106 = $1.38 <--Friday
5,271 =$0.51 <--Mon
5,778 = $0.37 <--Tue

 

This has been happening to me to.

I just took adsense down a week ago because of this.

 

This is the effect of the current financial current. Just watch the news, the web is not immune to such problems.
