Dear experts, Greetings! I am looking for your kind support on this serious matter. I am doing SEO for the website - LendingStream dot co dot uk and I am facing some problem with the http and https pages of the website. Some of the website pages are https pages and we have used relative URLs across the website. Due to which Google has cached both the versions of the pages i.e. http and https causing duplicate results in the SERPs. Now we want to remove the unwanted URLs from Google cache and also like to handle this issue permanently for future. We have user login facility in our website and for that we need to disallow search engine spiders to cache the pages when the user logged in even when he is getting the same pages of the website. Also we need to track the pages properly through Google Analytics. Please help me in this regards. Thanks in advance for your kind support. Regards, Akash
Use a robots.txt file or include meta tags on your webpage that will tell Google to exclude the page from search results. If you want to remove content from Google search results, your best bet is to contact the webmaster. Here’s the URL: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=9109
Dear, Please check all links of your site. Might be possible that you linked your page with "https". Because if google find this problem then definitely google cached this URL.. and also check your site at server where your site is located that you placed this URL.. Regards Divya Delhi
