From looking at all the evidence the Bible offers. It's practically indisputable (or is that undisputable?). I have studied the Bible incomprehensibly for the last three years and am still learning more and more as time goes on. It's way too easy for most people to just say " agh! It's just a story!" when most have given up after trying to read it like a book from front to back. Although, it is one way to get the sense of it, it needs a lot more than that to have an understanding of it and what it really teaches.
I don't really see how the bible can be taken at face value in this day and age. Actually, evolution is seen over the process of years. A lifetime is too short witness it, usually, though Darwin's finches reveal evolution on an incredibly fast scale. There is evidence of evolution through remains. Thus, evolution isseen. Anyway, I have a hard time believing a student would be so quick on his feet when posed with such a question. Most often I see "people of faith" arguing within themselves to continue unquestioning rather than actually answering a direct question. I have no problem with faith. I have a problem with people not knowing why they have faith.

Does God exist? If money is the main thing in your life, then your God is money. If you would sell your best friend down the river for money then YOUR god is money. If you would do anything for your family, I mean give your life, then your family is your god. If you believe in NOTHING, then NOTHING is your god, not you have nothing, because you can NOT believe in nothing. the very fact that you BELIEVE in nothing makes that nothing something. It is IMPOSSIBLE to believe in nothing as nothing doesn't exist so if you believe in nothing then THAT is your belief <phew> If you believe in Science, then science is your god. We ALL have our gods, we all have our demons. MY God is the God of the Christian bible (although as any sensible person, I can not agree to what the bible says without question) . I have studied many faiths (I will not say religion, as it is religion that causes wars, NOT Faith or belief), and I have yet to read a line ANYWHERE that says 'go out and kill people of other religions' . Plenty there that say defend your faith with your life, but defending your belief, and going to war are TOTALLY different things. Being prepared to die to defend your religion can mean choosing death rather than denounce your faith. We live in a free world (most of us), and that very freedom gives us the right to believe in whatever we wish to believe, be it buddhism (which is a great religion BTW ) Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Shinto whatever, we should be FREE to choose. Sadly in the UK we have been overrun with the Lilly livered liberal socialist namby pambies where child molesters have more rights than the children who are molested, and terrorists have more human rights than their victims. This by itself is causing problems as the race based political parties such as the British Nationalist Party etc jump on the back of feeling. This in itself causes more problems and we end up with racial attacks. You want nuts? how about the terrorists that hijacked a plane, set it down on the tarmac in Britain (when it was hijacked over France), held hostages to ransom for a week, then when they were overrun claimed political asylum. Now a couple of years later the courts have decided that no action should be taken against them nor should they be sent home as their human rights will be infringed to do so.! Does god exist? Belief and faith is personal, we all believe in something, and we ALL have the free will to make difficult decisions. They might not be the right ones with hindsight, but so long as we do what we BELIEVE is right then we will be ok. Does electricity exist? Yes, is electricity good or bad? NEITHER the same electricity that kills people in the electric chair keeps babies alive in the High dependency unit. Religion is like electricity, by itself it is a power, it is MAN who chooses to use it for good or bad.
We have the same problem in the U.S. Political correctness is ruining justice and social order by caring more about the criminal than the victim. More and more people are getting sick and tired of the politically correct BS and there is a strong backlash building up against it. Many people are now resorting to vigilante justice because they know their government will no longer protect their rights.
