You can't do it. Winnie The Pooh is protected by both copyright & trademark... and Disney is very aggressive in protecting its intellectual property.
So that mean I cannot draw Winnie the Pooh in anyway. How about I alter the character, like I turn it into a funny picture? Is there anyway, I can use the character without written permission from Disney?
Why copying someone Else's character, if you have skills than you should make your own character design and you can sell it as well. And yes there are plenty more stuff around to take inspirations though!.
I know that I can create new character. But I like Winnie The Pooh, so cute! But since it's copyright infringement. I can't do anything. I still have question, I found this sketch of Bugs Bunny and Lola on http://flickr.com, would this infringing the copyright?
You should visit Disney's website to learn what their copyright restrictions are to see if you are within your rights or not. I tend to agree that you can draw these pictures for yourself, but not sell them. At least legally. If you are good at drawing, why not create your own line of characters? Of course, you'll want to trademark them to protect them from, you guessed it, people who will copy your designs and make a profit off of them.
