Anyyan, just a heads up I could have an Alexa ranking under 10k in less than a week with fake hits to the server. For folks who actually want stats, I would start using something like analytics or awstats to prove it. Most folks couldn't care less about Alexa anymore. Its a gage yes, but not a final answer in anyway.
Thanks for your headsup. I don't know how to boost Alexa by fake hits. All i know is our traffic is real, although a bit incentive. We have thousands of ACTIVE members and more none-members visiting the site daily. Our site is hosted on a dedicated server and uses upto 200GB bandwidth per month. I once asked our host manager for analytics or awstat installing but eventually gave up, as that would slow down the site's loading speed and cost more server resources. The main advertising items of our site is email marketing, those on-site sponsor spots are very limited and may be quickly sold out just like this time. So we don't have to install third-party tools to prove our traffic. Thanks again for your concerning.
