Weird Warning mail from Google Adsense Team

I received a mail from Google adsense team today.

Good thing: They sent me a warning only for violation of policies as they reviewed a text which is asking for clicks and visits etc. but did not deactivate the account directly. But they have asked to remove this text or update the pages :)

Bad thing: This website does not belong to me, looks like this mail is sent to me mistakenly. My publisher code is different [You can crosscheck it at my website http://www.stockmarketindia.net] than the publisher code on his website they mentioned in mail [pub-4456195618411927]. So it's someone else than me who is violating the policies. First I thought someone have copied my adsense code and pasted on his side. But it's not the case as publisher codes are different on both websites.

My problem is I cannot update the site which is owned by someone else :p
I will get back to them, but had anyone received such wrong warning mail before? This is the mail I received, [Observe the link they mention which is owned by someone else]

    Very subtle:

You could also forward it to the site owner, but yeah, defo ask Google.

Attached the snapshot of that person's page for whom google adsense team sent me warning mail

The attached image looks very small, but the TOPS picked up the right text from his site.

Maybe they copied the wrong site url? Make sure you don't have any sites that google could have been talking about before you write them. Your first site in your signature has this above the ad:

Maria Sharapova Wallpapers and Pictures *CLICK HERE*

That's the webpage title and heading of the page. And that blog hosts Yahoo ads. But still i think it's better to remove that text and only keep it on webpage title.

Actually this text helps me to get attention of search engine user. This brings a good traffic to my blog when they see 10 other maria sharapova sites in search. Uhh, I never mentioned this here or what!

I would email Google for sure and notify them that it is in fact not your website or pub id and for more info. That is strange.

I'd also make sure the email is actually from Google before you log-in to your account through any of the "google pages" linked to in the email.

And this has to do with Mavericks Original posts how? Google made a mistake. This has nothing to do with Google's friendster/myspace wannabe site and its members trying to solicite clicks.

LMAO!!! I got the same email, and decided to check out my sites stats (forgot the site like... 8 months ago). I noticed i randomly had 50+ hits on the 7th! That needed to be checked out. I checked my referrers domain list, and i get this site.

Sorry for all the confusion! I was actually lookin for the website URL so i could take it down... I got that... about 2 years ago, havn't touched it for atleast a year! Odd how you ended up recieving the email, and that it actually came to me, once you reported it was the wrong email address.

Anyway, sorta... thanks... i guess... for sendin that error report thingy back... otherwise I'd still be confused about what the website url actuall is...

    crapy site, no?

Thx, sorry about confusion... (dont bother posting reply to this, i'll never check it)

P.S. Im VERY supprised that Google "caught" me... considering i've had those ads up there for more than 18 months... (somewhere between 20-22 months) I threw up that main page about a month after the site was created... and edited the ads in soon there after. If google has just now found it, that doesn't say much for them checkin the sites u put ads on... but hey, wats better than a free site, makin money off ads? (dont reply - i wont check it)

The big dummy probably doesn't know that he's already been banned. He still has the codes in his pages.

*sigh* I just knew i'd get comments when i posted my first reply... so now, much later, i check again... This thread is probably dead, but what ever... ban me from here if you want, i dont care... And guess what? That site is dead... I know that my ads are banned, and im just too lazy to do anything... but now that i think about it... i actually do think i "dismantled" that site, striping it of EVERY webpage, except the main one... i think... eh... either way, i dont care! Its just a temporary site i used to throw up games for us to play at school... Now that i have my own server, i can upload the games to that, so noone has problems loading games from blocked sites (as they would have on the dead site) I dont just hot-link, im streamin live... well... yea... w/e... sorta... not really...

    blah blah blah... w/e...
