Downloaded phpbb. Now what?

    Can someone please tell me how can I create a forum? I have the domain ready and I downloaded phpbb.

    That's all I don't have any idea of what to do next. How will upload it on the server and how will I use it etc...
    Can you help me out with this?

    Note: You can benefit from this too, I'm going to create a p*** forum ;) lol

    If your host has fantastico then you can just use that to install phpbb.

    well, connect to your cpanel, create a database and a username, link them by giving rights to db for the user
    then, go to ftp.yourdomain.com and upload all files (copy them)
    then run your site in browser and you'll see the magic (some stepts to follow to get forum rolling)

    Fantastico will be the easiest option to install a phpbb if you are using cpanel.

    fantastico its a tool, an administration panel of your hosting features
    if you dont know to access it, just try with cPanel, by typing your domain.com:2082

    Fantastico is a script installer. It contains lot of freee scripts in it and we can install the scripts easily from it. It is a cpanel add on, if your host supports fantastico, you can install forum with a few clicks.
    There are other alternatives to fantastico like Installatron is also a script installer.
    Just see which one does your hosting provide...
