how to get traffic to my site?

    hi,

    i have a site at www.surfnearnzone.com. intially i had built it to build my list. then later i added adsense to the pages. today i read it here that using adsesnse might be wrong if i use bought traffic. is that so ? also i m fed trying to build traffic to my site, just exactly can anyone tell me how to do it. where do i start.

    how effective is seo? Is it enough or i will have to do something else also.

    currently my pageviews are around 100pages/pm

    I would work on building content and links. It's the easiest and most effective way to build traffic. After a few months you'll start to notice your getting traffic from search engines too :)

    buying traffic is fine to drive traffic to your website.. what do you think adwords is. SEO is great if you know what your doing and if not read these forums and the memebers will aid you.

    It depends. Who's doing the SEO, someone who understands SEO or someone who pretends to understand SEO?

    Yes, when done properly SEO works. You will also need to implement a plan for SEM. These two things are not interchangeable, they are not the same thing.

    Building traffic is difficult, but can be done if you know how.

    And, sending people here isn't going to help you much.

    how should i go about it. I have a very minimal budget. I cant spend much. My concern is in building effective and long staying organic traffic. By long staying i mean traffic which would keep returning.

    I have very few PLR articles (around 40). My problem is i have a very basic knowledge about building websites. Even the sales letter belongs to Michael Rasmussen who provided it with the ebook.
