Hi, I like SUSE's features more, but Ubuntu appears to be a well made and professionally laid out OS. Which one do you think is better, and why? Regards, Jeewant
I honestly don't like both. If it was my choice, I'd go with Redhat Fedora or FreeBSD. However, it depends on what exactly you're going to use it for.
Ubuntu is much more 'pick up and go' in my mind, although suse is closing the gap. However, I think the new fedora (10) is right up there, and after a month with it - I'm quite liking it
Yeah, even I love using Ubuntu, but the only problem I am facing is, that there is a lot of download required from net if you need to use it to the fullest
Yeah, that's true! But look at the bright side, Ubuntu distribution comes in a CD whereas SUSE is packed in DVD. Alternately, download Ubuntu DVD distro that way you don't to download anything of installation in future.
I live in a hostel and my college has imposed download limits on the kind of internet usage I undertake daily- so downloading is a BIG problem for me.
