To be honest he's been pretty poor with the players he has at his diposal and he's made some pretty strange decisions. Taking only two fit strkers to the world cup being one of them.
I don't agree with the press getting on his back, but even so I can understand the frustration.

Yeah, I don't know all the stories behind it of course. I've just read some articles from British papers, and all I gotta say is: when they're out to get someone, they really go for it. But in general it's like when you have a bad president. Support him for 4 years .... and then get rid of him

They're not chosen democratically... A lot of us only believed in the team, the players. Not the coach.

When they were looking for a new coach they wanted a Brit, ended up with a Swede.

    I hope MacLaren does better!

I wouldn't care where a coach is from, long as he is behind the team!

I think he's part of the problem rather than the solution. Bring back El Tel I say!

Poor Ronaldo. The whole world seriously hates him now.

He get's booed by French and Germans fans. Christ, what an insult.

    & if that isn't bad enough. Check out what my country's fine young citizens have done now;

Thats ridiculous. The only 1 to blame for Rooney getting sent off is Rooney. People seem to forget that it's Rooney's problem that he can't control his own temperament.

I was thinking about this the other day as my family was planning to go to Portugal this year. If (for instance) Spain played a really dirty and unfair game against England in this kind of match, Spain would lose ALOT of money as it's the most visited destination and as football fans are the type to go to Spain a lot. Just a thought, would be interesting to see the effects though.

I only don't get one thing: was Ronaldo the guy who hit Ricardo Carvalho in the balls?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGkfFhM6BFM

    Wait! Let's see what happens:
    1) Ronney sends Ricardo Carvalhos to the floor
    2) Ronney "kicks" Ricardo Carvalho balls
    3) Ronney is right in front of refery (no he is really, really smart  )
    4) Ronald says to the refery that i should get a red card (any player would have done that)
    5) the refery shows the red card
    6) Usually the refery shows the red card when there is an agression right??

Now, do you think that refery only showed the red card because Ronaldo asked??? LOL

I saw all Portuguese (and also from other teams!!) players asking for penalties, yellow and red cards. Did they get them for asking?? yeah right...

Rooney: breakfast is ready!!! go go go before Ronaldo comes and tels your mom to take you breakfast away!

Who lives of the travel industry must be sorry if that's true but...
We still have the nicest beachs AND the best beers ;) Which is something that the spanish don't have :D

It's going to be another summer full of brits if you want my opinion...
Only the fanatic ones will change their vacations but hey...I don't want them in my country anyway ;)

BTW C Ronaldo is from Madeira...It's an island for those who don't know and it's near Africa :p It's related to Portugal just cause they've interest...They governator doesn't like Portugal...
