Google has no strict criteria for acceptance into the AdSense program, and AdSense doesn't hit you with a minimum traffic requirement.

The only criteria they're really sticky about is the standard acceptable content requirements, and that's pretty standard almost anywhere.

You basically just apply, if they deny, make some changes, and reapply

The best way to get approved by Adsense is to have a quality website or a blog with unique content.
Follow their TOS and you will be approved.

why don't you try to promote it and write content, why hurry to get adsense account when it's useless? get it when you can earn money from it.

No any requirement on backlink and traffic. What you need is hosting blog/website with 6 months old

there is no hard and fast rule for approvel of adsense program, as various others memebers has told follow those things and you will get approved for adsense but you must have a physical address if out side USA and some other countries where they provide online money transfer.

You do have to have a website up and running before you can apply for an account. It doesn't matter if you just bought your domain name a couple days ago, as long as your site is online.

They will have a real person look at your site and make sure it is ready for visitors. It must have content, not just a list of links. Google will only approve sites that offer information to internet surfers.

Where did you find this info that a blog must be minimum 6 months old to be allowed for google adsense? This is rubbish, I have a blog only 4 months old and it was allowed instantly. It could hv been allowed before if I had applied, who knos!

    @faithuniq
Dude, you gotta work on your content first then think about adsense and making money. Make site/blog for your users, not for google adsense.

Google rejected most my friends applications who applied for adsense.
    Here is what they say..

Page Type: In order to participate in Google AdSense, publishers'
websites and application information must satisfy the following
    guidelines:

    - Your website must be your own top-level domain (www.example.com and
    not www.example.com/mysite).
    - Your domain must have been registered and active for at least 6
months. before you apply for AdSense.
    - You must provide accurate personal information with your application
that matches the information on your domain registration.
    - Your website must contain substantial, original content.
    - Your site must comply with Google AdSense program policies:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US which include Google's
    webmaster quality guidelines:
    http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769&hl=en_US#quality .

It would be an instant approval for most of the new but quality websites from google adsense but the trend has changed due to flooding of google with MFA sites. Google has started to look at the quality of contents and age of the domain before giving the green signal for most of the sites although there may be some rare cases of exceptions...

6 month old site not a strict rule. People do get approved even after 1 month of their site launch.

You have good content, so don't worry and apply it but it will be better if you put more articles in it and get some more good back links.

Yeah I applied after just joining blogger and got accepted with no content on it so maybe different rules apply based on your country of residence.
