You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy.
Get a new ad code on adsense and select Image Ads only.. If your using Ads manager you can change it there easily...
I visited your site.. Yea. that's what will happen if you don't have a good navigation structure for users to browse your site.. Blogger have a lables (categories) feature.. Add it to your blog.. and that can help.
my bounce rate is 90% yet i do have a nice design and all, problem is when a user comes to my site i dont expect them to go to a second page as they find exactly what there looking for right there and then. income from the site is not bad either, about $100 per day from 10,000 uniques so $10 ecpm, forget bounce rate
its really bad thing for ex. if u have 100 visits per day, 80 people close your website so now u imagine out of 20 how much convert ?, u need to work on website re-design and layout and content as per user friendly.
You can get some information about bounce rate: http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=81986 http://www.ranacorp.com/2009/02/13/how-you-can-optimize-your-business-with-google-analytical-tools/ .SR
A higher bounce rate indicates plenty of minor problems, all negative. What are your traffic sources? What keywords are you getting your traffic from? Assess the complete route map of your traffic and you'll get there.
I would say your website or page is not appealing to the people that are viewing it and that some changes are required.
