    Hey,

Well I'm sure all of us have heard of Twitter but I'm interested to know if you guys think its just one of those sites that has a short life-span?

I think its great. Initially I was hesitant, but I have to say, I am addicted :D

Let me know your thoughts :)

I like twitter a lot, but lately it's just turning into a spammers paradise. I mean there is nothing wrong with promoting your site and generating traffic and revenue through twitter, but some people are spamming constantly. Also what's up with people following you so you follow them, then we they get a few thousand followers they stop following people back. Play the game if your gonna sign up. Don't be one of these people.

Yeah, I really don't like people who have long conversations with others using the @ reply feature. People need to understand that twitter isn't a chat facility and any personal convos should really be reserved for direct messages.
It really frustrates me to see people pushing great updates into the "old" or "more" section, just because of their blatant disregard for others.

It's good but I don't like the way that you can see the @replies that show up on your main wall, because I like my twitter messages to go along side with facebook and bebo, I don't really want everyone seeing what I'm saying to everyone else... They should make it optionable

I think you can do that by making your updates private in the settings control panel ;)

Facebook has 10x more active users than Twitter, and it has a sustainable business model from ad revenue. It recently rolled out an upgrade that makes it more Twitter like. Investors have poured $55M into Twitter so they's better react to Facebook fast or they'll go under. My $0.02.

PS I use both Facebook and Twitter: see the about page off of the domain in my sig

The past months I’ve been busy exploring the twitter world.I was never attracted to micro blogging tools like twitter. Constantly updating your blog is effective for some people but other people may find it “nerdy”
    .

It was interesting working with twitter, from the online marketing side I always look at the value of different mediums.Twitter could have a certain extra value for your business, a lot of online businesses have a link to twitter now.

Conclusion:if you use twitter investigate how it works and make sure it’s usefull for your business.
