Starting Directories Now, Potential?

    Are dirs making good money now a days? I remember i use to build then sell dirs but is this market still able to generate good profit?

    Mostly it's not as profitable as it used to be. But it all depends on how you promote it and its quality.

    Yes you still can make money on dirs, however it is not that easy that it was. You need to stand out and have high quality.

    Unless you have experience and money to put into a directory, like any other business your chances of making anything are slim. The economy right now is also making new business startups difficult.

    I'm really contemplating on starting my own directory. I see the money potential, even if it comes in short bursts of $2.99 lol.

    Biggest point - Make SURE it doesn't look like crap. Get a unique template for it if you can. Focus on gaining to at least PR 2.
