    Hi Friends,
Today i was watching TV saw a live news show regarding IPL moving out of India in 2009

    What do u say?

Do u think Indian Premier League held outside India makes sense??
    To me it doesn't..

    What about u??

For those who donno the IPL .. IPL is Indian Premier Leagues a CRICKET TOURNAMENT conducted by BCCI (Board of Control from Cricket in India).

Players from all over the word participate in the tournament..

IPL will surely loose a lot of fans and possibly money if it moves out of India. Its quite sad to know about this.

I don't think it make any impact as we love Cricket only and I would be happy if IPL will play in South Africa as it would be great place for to watch T20 matches. But BCCI will arrange it in England as T20 World Cup is also in England so it gives some practice to players.:)

You have a valid point but don't you think we would be unable to see the same spirit and same interest on the ground and in crowds. Also, it will not give a lot of people the opportunity to watch the matches at their home ground. :(

Absolutely, you are on the dot. I too feel that IPL just as a circus or an extended version of a reality show, which has crying (harbajan last year), hitting (srishanth), emotional mixups (with bollywood actors involved), and everything. We should be concerned about other issues rather than worrying about IPL being hosted elsewhere. Who cares, at least not me.

This will be a HUGE loss to DLF and IPL in terms of money. I had plans of watching all matches at the stadium here in Mumbai like I did last year :(.

It's very disappointing, but BCCI had to take some step to cope with the current situation. General Elections in a big democracy like India is a very sensitive matter and we can't afford any loop holes in security.

    Hey shubhi! Dont worry...

We will ask our friend Peter_Anderson to buy tickets for us..
The match will probably be hosted in England, and he always claimed that he is very rich.
So, he will buy tickets for us..... LOL

I think this is ridiculous and believe that in India people just can do simple things easy . I made a post about this today on my blog too. :D

Obviously a fair decision with the security concerns. However, it is a shame that the IPL is likely to played outside of India given the number of fans that live there and the fact that it is called the IPL...
