He is a nice and kind guy, I accept whatever he did was totaly unexpected.
but I insist there must be something very very bad which enforced him take such step.

It was posted minutes after the end of the match on some webmaster forum (GFY). Members started like a dozen threads about his headbutt lol

I'm trying to learn italian but I had to break out my italian-english dictionary (which is not a very good one) for some of this.

the first part doesn't make much sense to me:

tanto via italia = many (or much) via = way. so much way Italy

maybe he meant: tanto vivi italia? = long live italy???

    forza AZZURI = force blue

Zidane, no mi piace questi azzioni = I didn't like Zidane's actions (i think that's pretty close)

This next, che un frosco pezzo di stronzo = who is a frosco?? [something] piece of *&%#

and, ma non mentre... = but not always...

    sono perdere = they lose

pretty poor translation, i know. mi dispiace. :D

    Mike, don't be a prick.

You only saw what happened from one side, at least wait until you hear what really happened before making such an accusation as that.

I'm sure that greasy Italian must have said something pretty bad to Zidane to make him react like that. No way would the legend that is Zidane have done something like that otherwise. That game was important to him!

    Yes,
after the game the shotbox men said that Zidane heard something which hurted him a lot.

But he should have done it all after the game.
There was no need to show the angryness in the game.

Zinedine Zidane is a wealthy individual, a model for many kids around the world, an experienced soccer player, what he's done is unforgiveable. It was a big scandal.

He bought out the justice. The cops should have taken him to the police station.

Give me your thoughts. That was a brutal headbut, and Zidane was always my idol of being such a great athelete.. But who really cares about anything other than his althletic skills, that doesnt count.

I will still standup for this guy, and justifiy his actions, but I gota know what compelled him?

Myne I believe it mighta been some racist talk, Your thoughts?

Zidane is a former Juventus player, he knew all the Italian players very well. It was a silly act.

Now what you say is extremely bad. He commited a crime and you want to justify it. I'm sorry man but no one can help your case.

The guy you are refering to is worth hundred million dollars, a happy father and newly retired man.

Yeah, After taking the cup he would have called Marco Materazzi and given him the head butt or better hit him with the FIFA cup on the head, that would have been pretty awsome

homelones .... crime ?? ... if Mazerotti said something racial well my friend that is crime to. It doesn't matter. Zidane should not do that what he did. He should report it later to fifa if someone said something to him. Oh and btw it is not first time he did that :D

Zidane is a great player and that pussy held Zidane from behind and stopped his free movement, when Zidane was going after the ball. This angered Zidane but I think he had still forgiven him. But as soon as Zidane was leaving, the italian also babbled some expletive which made Zidane give him the headbutt.

I think Zidane rules and such things happen in life which are not under your control.

    Cheers!

BTW, there is no need to blame that other french player who missed the penalty shot. Anyone could miss. But yeah, if Zidane was there, things would have been different.
