its not so difficult to learn but it takes time to put into practice. Just spend some time on the SEO board and you'll learn a lot.
Seo is full a group of tips and knowledgeable things by which you can get lot's of business and it is very easy if you learn something daily.... Search in Google.com like this " What is seo?" and " seo tutorials" you will get every thing from google. And start your training
That's not hard to learn the basic SEO, you can actually get SEO related information at DP. However, it is hard to become an expert, and it is hard to make it come true
SEO is not that hard to learn, but you should know how each single thing can affect your search engine placement, and according to it you have to make your strategy to increase your search engine placement. For example: optimizing title and descreption tags, use of heading tags etc. And nobody should be involved in blackhat tactics: neither you nor the website you are getting links and linking to.
Check out my site http://www.lancesfinancial-freedom.com I have some free tips and it shouldn't take you too long to read. Take care.
i completely agree with english monkey, the process is very easy to learn, but the main difference between an expert and an amateur lies in their visualization and improvisation processes. you will always have to keep your creative thinking process running. you have to make out of the box thinking. and only an expert can do that with expertise. it comes with experience. start joining different seo forums. and submit queries. keep exchanging ideas. there is no way you can learn seo in a tutorial home. learn it yourself.

It took me about six months to master SEO, but once you know what you're doing it is simple to get results. Try SEObook.com. They have practically everything you need to know to get into the field. If this website were around when I first began my writing career, I would have been off to a much smoother start.
I am also trying to learn how to optimize my site. Competition on the web seems to be very stiff I must say.
