I have submitted my Sitemap.XML to Google. There are nearly 1800 URLs there in the Sitemap.XML which I generated using my Stand alone Sitemap Generator. But what Google showing in my webmaster control panel is this.. Sitemap type - Web Format - Sitemap Submitted - 19 hours ago Last downloaded by Google - 19 hours ago Status - OK Total URLs in Sitemap - 0 Total URLs in Sitemap is 0??? Any idea? Thanks for your help.
it's really weird...is it giving Total URLs in Sitemap=0 or Indexed URLs in Sitemap=0??? Can i have a look at your xml sitemap?
Here you can see the Sitemap http://www.newtamil.in/sitemap/sitemap.xml and here is what I see in my webmaster tools..
the sitemap is ok but why have you put it into a folder. put it at the root folder i.e. http://www.newtamil.in/sitemap.xml
Yes, xml-sitemaps also suggested it, but I thought it would not affect anything if we change the location of the sitemap.xml Now I changed the location to root, and updated it in Google. Why can not we put the sitemap in subfolder? Thanks for your help.
