What does it mean site name - it says:Your link title must contain your site's name.A few keywords are ok

If a have site says: ClothingPlace.com (not my site just example) .... what titles are ok for your own directories.

    1) ClothingPlace.com
    2) ClothingPlace
    3) Gucci ClothingPlace
    4) Chanel ClothingPlace
    5) Jessica Simpson ClothingPlace
    6) Clothing Place
    7) Gucci Clothing Place

just depends on the webmaster but that would usually mean your title would be Clothing Place

imo it's not a suitable guideline,
we choose the domain name rather than the site name.

Their saying something like widgetsite.com - blue widgets is fine, although in anothers eyes that may not be ok because of repeating the word widgets, but you get the idea.

I can hear any of the DP members who have edited for one of the volunteer edited directories and know how to edit groaning over these answerers. (The business title is what traditionally goes in the title line)
Note: websites are not called links, in directory terms it’s normally a website or submission.

    yeah pipes answered it
    ClothingPlace.com - Jessica Simpson ClothingPlace
    you can add like this
as the ClothingPlace is already there in the domain name, for best result add another keyword instead of it

All of them. Rotate them when you submit to get the most out of the links.

I'd say the bold text is asking for trouble. For my directory I edit the title to explain as concisely as possible to the user what the site's about. If that happens to include a keyword fine, but I wouldn't accept keywords which are for the benefit of the submitter only.

    Ok ...

I assume you want relevant title.

But why would i say - jessica simpson ClothingPlace - unless i have jessica simpson clothing there.

    Is that what you mean?
