I have got a huge list of blogs courtesy to digitalpoint. However, when I go for commenting on those blogs, only then I get to know that comments are nofollow. Is there a tool to determine it, so i can save some time. Otherwise, sharing few dofollow blogs are always welcome. Thanks.
I don't think getting links on no-follow blogs is worthless. No-follow links are used to restrict PR leakage of that page only. And if blog is relevant then it can drive traffic to your site as well. So, no need to bother about no-follow links.
My actual goal is to increase PR. I am concern about page rank. I know it is not helpful in SERPS. But this is my goal. So that is why I am interested in dofollow links.
You can use Firefox and the SEO addon to check if they are dofollow or not. http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/seo-for-firefox.html If that was your question?
I've started using firefox nofollow addon a few days ago and it saves masses of time. Once installed just rightclick mouse and select nonofollow - dofollows have blue backgrounds nofollows have red backgrounds.
Yes, I have installed firefox addons. I was thinking if there was a way where I can avoid going to website and determining whether the comments are dofollow or not.
A tool would be helpful, I usually just view the page source and see if the comments left have the relnofollow
Viewing page source is time-consuming. Save time and effort. Just use the Firefox plugin mentioned above.
Just use the firefox addon called "searchstatus" which will tell you whether they are dofollow or nofollow. Wish this will helps
With the plug in, regarding the whole SE scraping/banning thing, do you just leave everything on "hidden" with the nofollow highlight option turned on?
In some cases, first 1-5 comments are nofollow. These blogs reward the commentators with dofollow link only if they post more than 1(or 5) comments. So be sure to read the comment policy.
Commenting on No follow is not worthless i had a client who asked me for direct comment url for more than 100 niches i gave him with more than 4000 urls for every niche and now he tops yahoo and msn for most of his sites
Most lists and free dofollow search engines are worthless. They are maintained and they quickly turn to junk. You get what you pay for....
there is a plugin for firefox called nodofollow.. it will highlight nofollow links in red and dofollow links in dark blue.. install plugin and feel the difference..dont rely on nofollow directories.. most of the blogs listed have nofollow for comments.. use the plugin to identify them. once installed click tools .. then click nodofollow.. thats all .. you can now identify nofollow and dofollow comments.
Yes no follow is not really too bad as it is consider somewhere they helps your site Anyways you can firefox addon to check it
