Guys, I'm sure that I saw a free hosting panel being offered here in digitalpoint. It was a panel that serve as an alternative from layered panel. I looked and searched DP again and couldn't find it. Maybe some of you especially those who are active in webhosting business can help me finding this free hosting panel.

    Thanks.

    Webmin? (http://www.webmin.com/)

After a bit of research, I found another free hosting panel (@echo_unlimited, read the very first post of this thread).

It is called cpcreator. kinda good and I like it but still it's not the one I look for in the first place.

I read the original post. You mentioned "layered panel" which is a unix control panel like the control panels I listed. - Thus why I listed those control panels, as I believed you were looking for a server control panel like webmin etc.

However now that you mentioned cPCreator, I sponsor a control panel similar to that that does the same job for free hosts:

:) notice the word "still it's not the one I look for in the first place."

    Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.

I'm going to presume English isn't your native language, as your quote has nothing in relation to anything I've said.

I said "Now that you mentioned cPCreator", meaning I knew what you was actually talking about now. Thus why I suggested fhm-script, as opposed to another unix control panel, to which-end; one in parallel to a something like Layered Panel. (Which you mentioned in your original post)

I'm only trying to help. :)

Yes, you're correct, English is not my native language. ;)

I am looking for a "certain" script similar to layered panel, which is widely use in Free Hosting scene. I saw it being released in Digitalpoint a couple months back but lost track of its thread.

About cpcreator, I was just merely suggesting or let people know that I found it and I like it too but it is not the one I'm looking for. Think of that like an advertisement. ;)

I appreciate you're here to help and I thank you. I have tried fhm and it is NOT the one that I'm looking for. Oh, the script I'm looking for is also free, have pleasant GUI and works similar to layered panel thus I remember the creator saying something about creating the script as "free" alternative of layered panel.

I've always been a big fan of ISPConfig, a free and open source control panel system that install seamlessly into a ton of different Linux distributions.

Try Googling around for "Perfect Server with [insert your distro here]" for full operating system configuration HOWTOs that will prep your server for ISPConfig. The end result is a very powerful, very easy to manage server environment.

So far I like ipanel for a paid script and cpcreator for a free script.
Mind you that this is not about finding a cpanel replacement.
It is about finding a script that can automate an account creation, have ipn, and a lot of other stuff.
