I drove 150 visitors to my new domain with an hour of work at this link exchange site. It is EasyHits4U com. No kidding! I clicked on 20 second links for about an hour and they gave me 50 credits bonus for signing up, plus I won 30 banner credits. After the hour of easy clicking I had 150 credits, which according to Google played itself out in 151 visits referred from their site over 2 days. WoW! You've got to try it!
I'd rather just add an article from my site to reddit.com in 20 seconds and get 500-20,000 hits in one day.
Out of those 150 visitors, you'd be lucky to get one person who is actually interested in your website. The traffic that you get from websites like this is extremely low quality. Most of the people using it are just ignoring your website as they are busy trying to earn their own credits. You would be better off spending that hour building links or doing something else to help your organic search engine rankings.
I have to agree with vansterdam. Even though I promote easyhits4u. I promote to those who are trying to promote PTC sites. Not their own website. When you have your own website you have a lot more work to do and have to make sure you have targeted visitors.
WOW. You get that many. I just get a few when I do this. And I submit to a few others too. What am I doing wrong? Yes I'm a noob.
I guess it depends on your site and what subreddit you submit to. The atheist community on reddit is quite large so it draws a lot of targeted hits - normally for me between 500-1000 per article, but I have seen a couple 5000 and one 20 000 day. I get pretty much 0 traffic from other sites I used to submit to like digg and what not. I would recommend finding a site that caters most to your niche
Actually, I was interested in some sites I saw and bookmarked them. I have no use for the get-rich-and-die sites, so I just skipped over those. The sites with real content though I actually opened in a new tab and browsed. I can see by my stats that some visitors did that as well with mine. Certainly most of the traffic was fluff, but there were a few who actually went through a few pages and stayed anywhere from 5-12 minutes. So it wasn't all for naught.
I signed up for it today and generated 35 clicks and sent them out to my site. It's a neat little program they've got. But all in all, it really isn't so helpful. Like other have stated, pretty much all of the visitors you get have no interest in your site whatsoever. It's pretty much just a waste of bandwidth...
i agree whit vansterdam ,its better if you do advertising and buy some cheap traffic services .. good luck!
And what about next 150 visitors? The following hour? I think thest "grandpa" methods are not good at present. It is sufficient to 1-3 social bookmarking sites and I think you get same 150 visitors for more short interval.
These exchange don't have any value, because everybody is there to just earn some credits so people will visit their website. they don't care about your content.
Yes, you are abosolutely right. It is a trap for fools. Many of those people create or use a special software just for refreshing pages thereby earning credits.
Yes, perhaps you are all right. It's worth the testing though to see if it has any value. I tested the reaction of people on forums to these kinds of ideas before, concerning issues I already knew the answers to. Most posters followed suit with the pessimistic post as soon as it was put up. There were two optimistic posters and the whole rest pooh-poohed the idea. Yet the idea posted was real and viable, as I later revealed that large companies were actually making money from it by a narrow, but wealthy target audience. It is better to ask HOW something might be used than to ask WHY someone would waste their time using it. What seems obvious at the moment of hearing a thing is usually not an adequate thought, now is it? We have all experienced epiphanies of one sort or another, which proves the limitations of our boxes in which we live. So let's try. One negative expressed here was that the only people who visit this sort of site are those trying to get clicks to accumulate credits for their own site's traffic. Well, that is what I was doing. I only went there for that reason. So I can agree with that assumption. Who would go to EasyHits4u just to surf? No one. But how do you get from that to the conclusion that it is a waste of time? Let's look at my experience. Out of about 100 sites I visited, there were MANY repeats. That was the fault of EasyHits4u. But I did open about 15 sites in other tabs to browse them more closely. I even bookmarked about 5 of them. This is interesting, since it is nearly the same ratio as those who spent real time on my site (to the total visitors referred from EasyHits4U), not just the required 20 seconds. Is it worth it? That immediately comes to mind. Is it worth an hour of work to get 5 people to REALLY look your site over? To answer that question you have to answer another. Are you prepared to convert those 5 people into regular readers? Do you have a plan? Do you have a landing page for this kind of visitor? How are you going to do it? The pessimist would just say it isn't possible and it isn't worth my time. They may even appear optimistic by offering a better way to get more people more quickly. Yet, they are still pessimists. If you spend one hour on a social networking site, can you convince 5 people to look your site over? How? You still face the conversion issue - that doesn't go away, but merely changes in how you do it. But how would you get 5 people to actually look your site over if you contacted them on a social networking site? Let's take Reddit. How can you get your article up on Reddit so others will actually GO to your site. If they go to your site, how can you get them to actually look your site over? How many people would an hour of work on a Reddit plan yield in visitors to your site? Then the question is how many would actually look your site over? You can see that we are faced with very different levels of engagement. Someone you met at a social networking site is more likely to look your site over IF they go to your site at all, than someone reacting to a Reddit article by clicking into your site. So for the Social Networking the goal of the landing page is to CONVERT them to a regular reader. For the Reddit visitor the job of the landing page is to get them to look your site over AND to convert them to a regular reader. If you can convert the Reddit visitor to a regular reader without the need to convince them to look your site over then the tasks are equal. Keep in mind though that the Social Networking visitor has had personal contact with you, whereas the Reddit visitor doesn't know you from Adam. So if you CAN get 5 people to look your site over after an hour's work on a Social Networking site or an hour's work on a Reddit plan, is the EasyHits4U worth the hour? Which is better time spent? The Reddit article will fall into oblivion. The EasyHits4U clicks will be credits spent as soon as the visitors see your site. The credits will vanish. Your work on the Social Networking site, though, is part of an ongoing community. I would say your best hope for continued effect of your one hour is the Social Networking site. That might be the best time spent. What do you think?
The main negative feature of using services like EasyHits4U is just you need spend your time! I.e. instead of doing some other usefull work you will waste your time on sites that maybe you never see in the future. Yes.. you can find a couple and bookmark them. But what profit you give to your site? 5 visitors that decide to to see? Are you sure they bookmark your site? Now about reddit, digg etc... You just spend about 3 minutes (5 if you are not registered) to post the digest and that all! You get more and more visitors and what do you think probability of bookmarking yous site increased? Don't forget you can post you link to many other social networks (see the SocialSubmitter in signature) Companies like EasyHits4U lives only on newbies who don't know yet how to promote their site. I did so... many my friends did so But we learn and become smater
there is one program i used it is much better than EasyHits4U as it doesn't require surfing or have to view other websites to earn credit it websiteno2.com it just links all sites of the same category to each other so the visitor of a certain website will see ad of your website it is amazing program
