Want to verify the following with everyone here: What is the best color for your banners to convert? I have tested several colors and it appears that plain white convert traffic the best to click through, any others experience the same thing?
i think it depends on the bg of a site, so white would be the best choice as many pages have white bgs.
I think banners and graphics pull better when they have some sort of ""action" to them. Scientific studies show that yellow on black (or black on yellow) is the best to catch the eye (think about a lot of the street signs you see)... I have tested a lot of color schemes, but I think good "action" produces better results than worrying about color schemes. As long as they compliment the background, any colors are fine.
I suggest the color to fit the products characteristic, if it's for some IT products, you could use grey, blue for more serious effect, but if it's for toys or cute stuff, you'd better choose more bright color
how can you suggest best colors for banners? without seeing website's color schemes and stuff. It totally depends on the website for which the banner has to be designed.
It will depend on your templete background colour. For me, red banner with black background is the best
