Changed wordpress theme and need to display subcats in new theme

Hi guys, i just changed a wordpress theme on a blog where i have 11 top categories with one of them having subcats.

On my old theme i had the following which displayed the subcats:

<?php wp_list_cats('sort_column=name&optioncount=1&hierarchical=1'); ?>

In my new theme i have the following which isn't currently displaying the subcats, only the top cats and i wonder if anyone may be kind enough to advise me on what to edit/add to the code below in order to display the subcats please?

<?php wp_list_categories('depth=1&title_li=<b>Categories</b>'); ?>

 

remove the "depth=1" in your new code and the subcats will display, to understand it better look here http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_categories
