My dream is to become a doctor

I want to become doctor i just turned 19 last month and im in my first year of university doing a Rdadiography course but my dream is to become doctor when i finished my exams and got out of school i didnt get good grades because of course i didnt work hard enough but now this is my chance to shine get a good degree and in 2 yrs time from now i would like to graduate and do medicine.

I have question

1. I will be 21 when i graduate if i do 4 yrs medicine course after that i will be 25 would it be too old? i mean most people will be having a proper job by that time . This is my only worry. Time just goes so fast

no 25 will not be too old, if i could go back and study until I was 25 then get a very good job i would take the opportunity with both hands/1

 

No man, if you set your mind to it, you can do anything.

 

I am already a doctor. But wish you luck. If you become doctor at 25 you will not be old.

I am also from medical science stream. I would like to give you a advise. Why are you perusing radiography course if you want to become a doctor? Leave the radiography course and opt for doctor now. Then your age problem will also get solved.

 

Don't forget the 4 years residency after the 4 years of med school.

I'll be 32 or so by the time I get through it all. I know people who are going to med school in their 40s. It's never to late to fulfill a dream.

 

If you are really interested to become a doctor then you should not look at your age!
I suggest to keep concentrate on the studies and move on!

i also be a doctor because i can also write like them , my handwriting is really poor

 

I feel that not everyone become a doctor; I believe they are the chosen ones. Doctors perform a noble job as they save others live. Don’t worry about your age concentrate on your studies and always remember you are the most special and chosen person. Not everyone can have the same opportunities like you. So make the best out of it.

 

25 is still young but it takes 8 years minimum to become a doctor

 

Completely agree with Vector. 5 year of medical school + 3 years of training = 8 years.

 

As far as I know. all aspirants of Doctor in medicine or any other branch so concerned with, usually achieved their first job in late 20's. You will be only 25..It is really gr8...
I will also be completing my PG in 25....Though engineering...

I do not think you have worry about your age, you should concentrate on target.
