I would guess you'd only run into problems if you sold something illegal or was an affiliate of someone who sold something illegal.

If your site is used to commit the crimes, death, suicide, kill, rape ? it is possible you could be held liable, people love an excuse to hold someone responsible if they get hurt, they want to blame someone else. Even with a TOS, you still could be held liable, and if you promote death, suicide, murder, rape, then no doubt you will be held liable, they will shut you down, maybe even come after you with charges, depending on what happened and what type of case it is. if you ever have to ask if it is legal on something like this, then my best advice is to stay as far away as possible.
