I have your info? Why don't you try using your brain for once and stop being so narrow minded. That is not my site, my site is a gaming site. That is a page that is showing up because the license for the CMS for the gaming content expired a week ago. I have been on here for years and have had that site up for over a year and notice there have been no complaints. Why would I do something like that? I'm not some new user who signed up and has tried to pull something. I have been on here for years with absolutely no problems. If I knew that this would happen when the license expires I would have pulled the site out of my sig prior to now.
so, when a script licenses expires and someone views the site, threats appear ? ya sure dude... I don't care if you started this site.. the fact is that i clicked the link in YOUR SIG and got threats pop up and my PC slowed down ??? u can fool these ppl if u want, but I know.. and to top it off your name is Trojanfan..lmao thats like me saying,, no I don't like games, never plaid them,, with my name being GameTrump ! if your so great why is your rep red ? I've learned one thing thats for sure.. I'll never click a site here unless I've seen several others and they had no problems..
its your responsibility.. you put that link in your Sig right ? or did it just appear ?? doesn't matter if its your site or not,, your promoting it.. it's awfully easy to say " it isn't my site " so u have no responsibility,, guess what, your wrong.. like i said in my thread, it doesn't matter if you where member #2 or #22222 u still had something fishy on that site.. your name is TrojanFan,, coincidence.. I think not!
What he is saying is it was his site when it was a games site then his license run out on the script so it automatically shows the CMS default page. Just like if you delete a site from cpanel it automatically shows the cpanel page. He didnt know there is a trojan on the default cms page so he has no need to rush and delete it from his sig. Ive seen trojanfan around forums for a long time i dont think he is the kind of guy to install trojans at all. I think www.cigmas.com are the guys you should be mad at. He could be a fan of the popular trojanwar pc game
ah, well i didn't think of that.. and i read your comment too post #17 if all this is a misunderstanding, then I sincerely apologize.. all I know for sure is that I clicked the link in his Sig, and a threat popped up,, and with his name being Trojanfan, I think you can see why I would jump to conclusions... even tho I'm not sure if he is in the right, this did teach me to be very cautious about what sites I look at on here.. and as I said, if this is a misunderstanding, then I am sorry I brought it up. I think most can see where I was coming from tho.. I'm not here to stir up drama, just to learn from more experienced webmasters like most others.. I'll leave this discussion to the rest of you. I still had 4 bugs on the PC last night, and I'll Scan and clean again tonight as well as tomorrow night to be sure. I use this particular PC for biz and can't risk the integrity like that.
It is all a misunderstanding and I am very sorry. I removed the site from my sig as soon as I found out. My site's CMS license ran out, I had no idea the page that shows up in this case would cause something like this. And my name is Trojanfan because I live in So Cal for the USC Trojans
