How can i make money off 100,000+ page views a month?

Okay I own a music based site that is getting 100k page views a month. Its only getting about 20k uniques though. Adsense is really not working at all and only making me a few bucks a month. What should I use to really make some good money off this baby? Its a member based site just to let everyone know.

LOL nice help. I feel your pain brother, because I'm getting 25k hits a day and like 5 dollars a day.
Since your site seems to have a defined niche, look into CPA or affiliate advertisements.

You can also look at companies in your niche and approach them to advertise.
What kind of music is your site? DJ? Gear? Hiphop?

 

Its a 100% unique hip hop site that allowes amature rappers to post their lyrics and have other rate them. I want to expand the site by adding new features but i dont have the cash for it cause im not making any money off of it. I think ill go after some private companies or affilates. Thanks

 

Consider selling music or joining music related affiliate programs, (rhapsody etc) direct ads are also great if you can get them.

 

I have to agree affiliate programs would be your best bet for some serious money. If you just trying to make money from all those page impressions on a daily bases I have a list of ad networks that pay good. Take the time to look them over.

 

Have you ever considered how many millions of sites like yours are out there? Why the heck you would make money in a market of millions?

First of all you need to know the source of the visitors from which country they are?
If the contents on your website are not according to the majority of the visitors then you can not earn and you need to make some decent changes.

 

would consider chnaging the ads placement or blend more to the content? with that amount of traffic and good ads setting i'm sure you can get good revenue everyday.

You can try affiliate programs, CPA, Adsense combined with Chikita.

Since you're getting a fair bit of unique visitors, why not TEST each and every one out. Let the traffic run for a week for each monetization method you implement and see which gives you the most cash

 

Check out sites like pandora and last.fm and see if they have an affiliate program you can join.

 

Promote some affilate programs, look at getting some decent paying CPM ads?
