Web design site + adsense?

I've just started a new blog, as part of my company image, and i'm wondering, though i'm using it to gain new clients, the main use of my blog is to promote my new projects etc, but when it comes to displaying adsense on it, would that be a big no no, or would it be worth considering?

I would suggest you put affiliate ads rather than adsense ads,

 

I don't suggest placing ads or adding any money making strategy, since they may call the attention of the visitors. If this happens, then you may reduce the possibility of gaining more clients.

Instead, why not publish original and informative posts about your company?
