Any automated backlink system, or link exchange websites(not automated)

I am looking to increase my traffic and backlinks, are there any automated ways of doing this.

and what are the best link exchange programs online.

I would prefer it to be free too, thanks!

But remeber - Quality backlinks are rarely free. If you want to rank high on competitive keywords, it's almost impossible to achieve with free links.

You may think you are saving money looking for free backlinks, but in fact you would be wasting your time with those, cos if you spent some money for quality links, your site may start to rank high and hence you would start making money from it, instead of wasting your time and delaying your own enrichment.

P.S.
*) (there is a software that allows to automate the process, so that you could submit 1000's of links a day, but be careful, don't rush it, especially for a new site.

Thanks for the replies, found some helpful info. From what i have learned i should trade links with sites with similar topics and a PR higher or equal to mine? This is what i try to do.

 

^ Yes, make sure that you only exchange links with sites that are related to your niche and have similar or even higher PR.

Quality over quantity.

 

Direct link exchange is a waste of time and will never help your site to rank well. However, if you feel tempted by "free lunch", I guess you should better spend a few months proving this to yourself Good luck!

 

Here's a good rule of thumb when doing link exchanges.... open up alexa.com and check the sites you want to exchange with. If they have few backlinks and rank poorly on alexa, you may want to stay away from them. They won't help you much. BTW the link exchange that i prefer is linkmarket... it has some good ranking sites for exchanging.
